Misha's Vineyard Verismo Central Otago Pinot Noir (2015)

This 'reserve style' red is estate-grown at Bendigo and oak-matured longer than its High Note stablemate. Currently on sale, the 2015 vintage (5*) was matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads (43 per cent new). Ruby hued, it is perfumed, full-bodied, ripe and savoury, with cherryish, spicy, slightly nutty flavours, a hint of liquorice, fresh acidity, impressive complexity and good aging potential. Best drinking 2022+.
