The youthful 2019 vintage (4.5*) is a Northland red, matured for a year in French oak barriques (30 per cent new). Full-coloured and mouthfilling, it is vibrant and savoury, with generous blackcurrant, red-berry and spice flavours, oak complexity, and good tannin backbone. Best drinking 2022+.
