The pale gold 2019 vintage (3.5*) was estate-grown in the lower Awatere Valley and handled without sulphur, using green tea as a natural antioxidant. It lacks the fresh, aromatic intensity of most Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs, but it is mouthfilling, with strong, ripe fruit flavours, and a smooth (4.9 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. A distinctive wine, it's drinking well now. Certified organic.
