The full-coloured 2017 vintage (4*) was matured in French oak barriques (14 per cent new). It has a fragrant, savoury bouquet, leading into a mouthfilling wine with strong, berryish, spicy flavours, showing considerable complexity, and good tannin backbone. Best drinking 2021+.
