The 2019 vintage (4*) was French and American oak-aged. Deeply coloured, with a fresh, spicy bouquet, it is mouthfilling and vibrantly fruity, with strong, plummy, spicy flavours. A 'fruit-driven' style, it is supple, with loads of drink-young charm. (From Te Awa.)
