Probably at or near its peak, the distinctive 2018 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown at Te Muna, hand-picked and mostly handled in tanks; 25 per cent of the blend was matured in seasoned oak casks. Bright, light lemon/green, it is ripely scented, mouthfilling, fleshy and sweet-fruited, with vibrant peach and passionfruit flavours, showing good concentration, and a subtle oak influence adding complexity. Worth discovering.
