Johner Estate Gladstone Reserve Pinot Noir (2016)

The 2016 vintage (4.5*) is a single-vineyard, estate-grown Wairarapa red, hand-harvested from the oldest vines, matured for a year in French oak barrels (80 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Ruby-hued, it is mouthfilling, savoury and supple, with concentrated cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, showing excellent complexity and harmony.
