The powerful 2014 vintage (5*) was matured for 15 months in French oak casks (30 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it has dense, very ripe cherry and plum flavours, a hint of liquorice, and good tannin backbone. A bold style, built for the long haul, it should be at its best 2021+.
