Johanneshof Maybern Single Vineyard Marlborough Pinot Noir (2016)

Estate-grown on a steep (30 degrees), north-facing slope at Koromiko, between Picton and Blenheim, the 2016 vintage (4*) of this distinctive wine was hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts and barrel-aged. Deep ruby, it is full-bodied, sweet-fruited and moderately firm, with strong plum, spice, herb and nut flavours, oak complexity, and good length.
