This beauty is one of the country's greatest Gewürztraminers. Hand-harvested in the Wairau Valley, the 2019 vintage (5*) is bright, light yellow, with an exotic, richly perfumed bouquet. Still very youthful, it is mouthfilling, with rich stone-fruit, ginger and spice flavours, showing lovely delicacy and depth, fresh acidity, and an off-dry (12 grams/litre of residual sugar), very harmonious finish. Best drinking 2023+.
