Greenhough Nelson Pinot Noir (2016)

The 2016 vintage (4*) was hand-picked in the Home and Morison vineyards at Hope, and matured for a year in French oak barriques and puncheons (15 per cent new). Ruby-hued, it is fresh, with very good depth of plummy, spicy, nutty flavours, savoury and complex, and a moderately firm finish. Best drinking 2021+.
