Gillman Clairet (2017)

Labelled as 'slightly darker than a modern rosé, with more fruit richness and structure', the distinctive 2017 vintage (4*) was made from Cabernet Franc and Merlot, grown at Matakana, and barrel-aged for a year. A rare wine, it has light red colour and a fragrant, spicy bouquet. A complex, dry style, it has a gentle touch of tannin and strong, berryish, nutty, slightly earthy flavours.
