Gibbston Valley School House Central Otago Pinot Gris (2019)

The highly refined 2019 vintage (5*) was hand-picked at an elevated Bendigo site (350 to 400 metres above sea level), and fermented and lees-aged for 10 months in stainless steel barriques (40 per cent) and French acacia puncheons (60 per cent). Bright, light lemon/green, it is richly scented, with strong, vibrant, peachy flavours, hints of apricot and spices, excellent delicacy, and a long, off-dry (9 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking 2022+. Certified organic.
