Drinking well in late 2020, the 2018 vintage (4*) was matured in French oak casks (15 per cent new). Ruby hued, it is ripely scented and mouthfilling, with good concentration of cherry, plum and spice flavours, savoury notes adding complexity and a smooth finish. Fine value.
