The 2017 vintage (5*) is a rare red – only 840 bottles were produced. Estate-grown in the Gimblett Gravels and blended with a splash of Viognier (1 per cent), it was matured for two years in French oak casks (40 per cent new). Deeply coloured and fragrant, it is densely packed, with concentrated, plummy, spicy flavours, finely textured and long. Best drinking 2022+.
