Dry River Craighall Vineyard Martinborough Tempranillo (2016)

'In style the wine sits between our Pinot Noir and Syrah,' says Dry River. The highly impressive 2016 vintage (5*) has promisingly deep, purple-flushed colour. Likely to be long-lived, it is mouthfilling, with dense, vibrant, plummy, spicy flavours, a hint of liquorice, a fairly firm finish, and a fragrant bouquet. Best drinking 2022+.
