From Greystone, the sturdy, generous 2019 vintage (4.5*) was grown at two North Canterbury sites and barrel-aged for nine months. Bright ruby, it is mouthfilling and sweet-fruited, with fresh, deep plum and spice flavours, savoury notes adding complexity, and a moderately firm finish. Full of youthful vigour, it should be at its best 2023+.
