Estate-grown at Havelock North, the 2016 vintage (4.5*) was fermented in seasoned French oak casks. Bright yellow/green, it is fragrant and robust, with strong stone-fruit flavours, oak complexity, balanced acidity, and a dry finish. Tasted in September 2020, it's probably at its peak now.
