Likely to be long-lived, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) was hand-harvested and matured in French oak casks (30 per cent new). Deeply coloured, with a fragrant, slightly herbal and spicy bouquet, it is mouthfilling, with concentrated, ripe, plummy, spicy flavours, a hint of herbs, good complexity, and firm tannin backbone. Best drinking 2023+.
