Dan Stuckman Petite Martinborough Pinot Noir (2018)

From a Waiheke Island-based winemaker, the elegant, youthful 2018 vintage (4*) is a single-vineyard red, hand-picked and matured for 11 months in oak barriques (18 per cent new). Ruby-hued, it is a floral, medium-bodied wine with vibrant cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing considerable complexity, and a smooth, lingering finish. Best drinking mid-2021+.
