Already delicious, the bargain-priced 2019 vintage (5*) is a floral, spicy red, grown in the Gimblett Gravels (principally) and the Bridge Pa Triangle, and matured for 18 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels (22 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it is fragrant, mouthfilling, rich and supple, with deep plum/spice flavours, oak complexity, and a very harmonious, softly textured finish. Best drinking 2022+.
