The delicious, distinctive 2018 vintage (5*) was hand-picked at Matapiro, and fermented and lees-matured for nine months in French and Hungarian oak barrels (50 per cent new). Golden and robust (15 per cent alcohol), it has beautifully ripe, peachy, spicy, gently honeyed flavours, balanced acidity, a slightly oily richness, and notable complexity and harmony.
