Estate-grown and hand-picked on the Waimea Plains, the 2017 vintage (4.5*) is an off-dry style (10 grams/litre of residual sugar). A finely poised, medium-bodied wine, it has strong, fresh, lively, lemony flavours, hints of limes and apricots, good acid spine, and a long finish. Already enjoyable, it should be at its best 2021+.
