Named after co-founder Concetta Lombardi, the 2015 vintage (5*), now on sale, is an age-worthy, Hawke's Bay blend of Sangiovese (60 per cent) and Montelpulciano (40 per cent), oak-aged for three years. Full-coloured, with a fragrant, fresh, spicy bouquet, it is sturdy, youthful and vibrant, with deep, well-ripened blackcurrant, plum, spice and nut flavours, finely integrated oak, and impressive complexity and harmony.
