Bel Echo by Clos Henri Marlborough Pinot Noir (2017)

The 2017 vintage (4*) was estate-grown on the stonier, less clay-bound soils at Clos Henri, in the Wairau Valley, and matured for a year in old French oak barrels. Ruby-hued, it is mouthfilling and sweet-fruited, with cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, complex and savoury, and a moderately firm but harmonious finish. Drinking well now, it should be at its best 2021+. Certified organic.
