Babich Winemakers' Reserve Marlborough Pinot Noir (2017)

The 2017 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown in the Cowslip Valley Vineyard, in the Waihopai Valley, and matured for 10 months in barrels (35 per cent new). Full, bright ruby, it is a very graceful, sweet-fruited, savoury and supple red, with cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing good complexity, and a long, harmonious finish. Best drinking 2021+.
