Offering fine value, the 2018 vintage (4*) was hand-picked in The Aurora Vineyard at Bendigo, and matured in French oak casks (20 per cent new). Ruby hued, with a fragrant bouquet, it is full-bodied and sweet-fruited, with strong, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, considerable complexity and a fairly firm finish. Still youthful, it's an ageworthy red, well worth cellaring to 2022+.
