The 2017 vintage (5*) is a rich, very ripe style of Pinot Noir. Matured in French oak casks (31 per cent new), it is a deeply coloured, powerful wine, with strong plum/spice flavours and a finely poised, well-rounded finish. Best drinking 2021+. The 2016 vintage (5*) has a sense of hidden depths. Very youthful, it’s a ‘big’ style of Pinot Noir, boldly coloured and sturdy, with dense, plummy, spicy flavours, firm tannins, and a long life ahead. Best drinking 2020+.
