Lawson’s Dry Hills Marlborough Chardonnay (2017)

The 2017 vintage (4*) is an excellent example of the very lightly oaked Chardonnay style. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and lees-stirred, mostly in tanks, with some malolactic fermentation, it is bright, light lemon/green, very fresh, citrusy and lively, with a slightly creamy note and excellent vibrancy, depth and harmony. Well worth trying.
