Grown in the Wairau and Awatere valleys, the 2017 vintage (4.5*) was handled entirely in tanks and made in a fully dry (1.6 grams/litre of residual sugar) style. Light lemon/green, it is intensely varietal, with good weight and immediacy, strong, tropical fruit and herbaceous flavours, a slightly salty streak, and a crisp, long finish.
