This subtle, fully dry wine is estate-grown near Renwick, in the Wairau Valley and tank-fermented, with some use of malolactic fermentation. The 2017 vintage (3.5*) is pale lemon/green, with vibrant, delicate apple and pear-like flavours, gentle spicy notes, good weight and texture, and an appetisingly crisp, dry (2.5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking 2019. Certified organic.
