Maturing well, the bold, generous 2014 vintage (4*) was matured for 10 months in French oak casks (27 per cent new). Tasted in mid-2018, it has full, bright, still-youthful colour. Mouthfilling, with strong, fresh, plummy, spicy flavours, showing good ripeness and concentration, and a firm foundation of tannin, it should be at its best from 2020 onwards.
