This was originally a single-vineyard, Waihopai Valley wine, but is now based on Wairau Valley fruit, grown by Giesen. Bright, light lemon/green, the 2017 vintage (3.5*) has a fresh, aromatic bouquet. Medium-bodied, it is ripely herbaceous, with very good flavour depth, and a crisp, dry (3.6 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.
