The 2015 vintage (4*) is a single-vineyard wine from Lowburn, in the Cromwell Basin. Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak casks (30 per cent new), it is ruby-hued, scented and supple, with gentle tannins and ripe, cherryish, plummy, slightly nutty flavours, showing good complexity and harmony.
