The 2014 vintage (5*) is a classy, youthful Gimblett Gravels red, full-coloured, with strong berry and spice flavours, well-integrated oak adding complexity, and excellent ripeness and depth. A dense, savoury, ‘serious’ wine, it’s well worth cellaring.
