Delicious now, but still youthful, the 2014 vintage (4.5*) was matured for 16 months in new American and seasoned French oak barrels. Full-coloured, it is mouthfilling, with strong, ripe berry, plum and spice flavours, a hint of liquorice, good complexity and a finely balanced, long finish. Also youthful, the 2013 vintage (4*) is dark, berryish and rich, with fresh acidity, good tannin backbone and a long future ahead.
