Seifried’s most celebrated wine. The 2016 vintage (5*) is highly impressive, with a real sense of vigour and potential. Refined and tightly structured, it has concentrated peach and pear flavours, a hint of honey, abundant sweetness (175 grams/litre of residual sugar), and a crisp, lasting finish. The 2017 vintage (4.5*) is very tight and youthful. Bright, light yellow/green, it is fresh and vibrant, with rich, peachy, honeyed flavours, ample sweetness (153 grams/litre of residual sugar) and crisp, steely acidity. It needs time; open 2019+.
