A ‘fruit-driven’ style, the 2015 vintage (3*) was matured for eight months in seasoned French barrels. Ruby-hued, it is peppery and slightly herbal, in a smooth, vibrantly fruity style, offering easy, early drinking. The 2016 vintage (3.5*) was French oak-aged for eight months. Full-coloured, it is mouthfilling, with generous plum, spice and slight tamarillo flavours, showing considerable complexity, and gentle tannins. Best drinking mid-2018+.
