Grown at Rapaura, in the Wairau Valley, the 2017 vintage (4*) was hand-harvested and handled in tanks (mostly) and old barrels. Pale pink, it is very fresh, delicate and vibrant, with watermelon and spice flavours, a hint of apricot, and a dryish (5 grams/litre of residual sugar), lingering finish. Delicious from the start.
