Moutere Hills Sarau Reserve Nelson Pinot Noir (2014)

Likely to be long-lived, the 2014 vintage (4.5*) is a concentrated, estate-grown red, hand-harvested from 17-year-old vines at Upper Moutere. Full and bright in colour, it is mouthfilling and very savoury, with deep, ripe cherry, plum, spice and nutty oak flavours, showing good complexity, moderately firm tannins and good potential. Best drinking 2018+.
