The 2014 vintage (3*) was grown in the Wairau Valley and matured for nine months in French oak barriques. Ruby-hued, it is mouthfilling and smooth, with fresh, ripe, plummy, berryish flavours to the fore, hints of dried herbs and spices, and gentle tannins. A drink-young charmer.
