Mission Gimblett Gravels Barrique Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (2015)

Offering top value, the 2015 vintage (4.5*) was matured for a year in French oak barrels. Dark and youthful in colour, it is fragrant, with concentrated, ripe blackcurrant-like flavours to the fore, hints of plums, spices and nuts, and a firm, lingering finish. A complex, finely structured red, with good cellaring potential; best drinking 2018+.
