The 2014 vintage (4.5*) is a deeply coloured Northland red, matured for a year in French oak casks (30 per cent new). Mouthfilling and firmly structured, it is concentrated, with ripe plum and spice flavours, seasoned with nutty oak, and excellent complexity and density. Well worth cellaring.
