Estate-grown at the eastern end of the island, the 2014 vintage (5*) was matured in French oak casks (30 per cent new). Bold and youthful in colour, it is a classy, highly concentrated, well-structured red, with dense, ripe blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, a hint of liquorice and fine-grained tannins. It should be long-lived; open 2019+.
