The 2014 vintage (5*) was hand-picked at Matakana and fermented and matured in French oak barrels (64 per cent new). Fragrant, with a complex bouquet, it is a powerful, rich wine, with generous, ripe stone-fruit flavours, biscuity notes adding complexity, and a long, well-rounded finish. Distinctly classy.
