Priced right, the 2016 vintage (3*) is a ruby-hued, medium to full-bodied red, with cherry/plum flavours, fresh and youthful. Sweet-fruited, with a touch of complexity and gentle tannins, it has lots of drink-young appeal, and should be at its best mid-2018+.
