Forrest Marlborough Pinot Noir (2017)

The 2015 vintage (3.5*) is a bright ruby, full-bodied, sweet-fruited red, with very good depth of plummy, berryish flavours, in a moderately complex style, enjoyable from now on. The 2014 vintage (3.5*), tasted in mid to late 2017, is similar – mouthfilling, with spicy, savoury notes, a hint of dried herbs, and good complexity and depth.
