Tiki Koro Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay (2014)

The 2014 vintage (3.5*) was hand-harvested, and fermented and lees-aged for 11 months in French oak barriques (70 per cent new). The bouquet is slightly oaky; the palate is mouthfilling, with citrusy, peachy, nutty flavours, showing a touch of complexity. In its youth, it shows a strong oak influence, but should reward cellaring; open mid-2016+.
