Grown in clay soils on the south side of the Omaka Valley, the 2013 vintage (4*) is a concentrated, savoury red, with strong cherry, plum and spice flavours, well seasoned with toasty oak (French, 38 per cent new), and good tannin support. A firm, structured style, it’s well worth cellaring.
