Rockburn Central Otago Pinot Noir (2013)

This consistently stylish blend of Parkburn, Cromwell Basin (principally) and Gibbston grapes is matured in French oak barriques (30–40 per cent new). It typically offers concentrated cherry, plum and herb flavours, very finely textured and silky. The 2013 vintage (5*) is a generous, very fresh and supple red. Deeply coloured, it is full-bodied, sweet-fruited and savoury, with plum, cherry and spice flavours, showing impressive richness, vibrancy and complexity.
